What is ISACA?

The name ISACA comes from Information Systems Audit and Control Association.

ISACA is an non-profit NGO, leader in governance, security and control in IT. It was established in 1969 as EDP Auditors Association (Electronic Data Processing Auditors Association).

The Sofia chapter was established in 2007.

We, ISACA Sofia Chapter, take initiative in trainings on topics that interest our members.

ISACA publishes and distributes ISACA Journal – a magazine, orientated towards fields that could be of interest to the community professionals in audit and control. The magazine comes out once every two months and is free for ISACA members.

Annualy ISACA organizes the Computer Audit, Control and Security (CACS)  conference. Members recieve discounts for the registration for this exciting event that gathers professionals and respected lecturers from around the globe.

The membership in one of the 200 ISACA Chapters in more than 180 countries gives you immediate connection with professionals with similar interests, duties and occupation.

Events, co-organized by ISACA Sofia Chapter attract respected professionals and allow you to keep up with the latest news. We also try to organise a meeting of the Chapter every three months. There we discuss topics that are interesting for and agreed upon by the members beforehand. After the formal meeting comes a time for informal conversations and sharing of professional experience and ideas.
